 Introduction of Basalt Alloy:
BabbittAlloy: tin and lead based bearing alloys with antifriction properties. It was invented by the American Babylon. Because it is white, it is also called white alloy. 
Babbitt alloy is a low melting point bearing alloy with phases of hard particles distributed on a soft substrate. There are three series of tin based, lead based and cadmium based. The representative components (mass score) of the tin based Basalt alloy is including: antimony 3% ~ 15%, copper 2% ~ 6%, cadmium < 1%, and tin residue.
